Tracer™ MAG-CORES are firearm magazine tracker housings designed to integrate compatible locating devices discreetly inside supported pistol and rifle magazines.
Tracer™ MAG-CORE is the core component of the Tracer™ Recovery Technology system by Mag-Trax™.
Each MAG-CORE is a purpose-built magazine insert/housing designed to securely hold a compatible off-the-shelf tracking device inside a supported pistol or rifle magazine. Rather than attaching a tracker externally to the firearm, the MAG-CORE places the tracking device within the magazine assembly for a discreet, low-profile installation.
The system is designed around platform-specific fitment. Select the magazine platform that matches your application from the available variations.
How it works
The Tracer™ MAG-CORE integrates into the magazine assembly using a platform-specific design. Depending on the magazine, the MAG-CORE works with the factory or replacement springbase and magazine baseplate to create a secure internal location for a compatible tracking device.
Once installed, the tracker remains concealed within the magazine while continuing to operate through its native tracking ecosystem.

AirTag® and Compatible Locator Magazine Integration
Tracer™ MAG-CORES provide an internal AirTag holder and compatible locator holder for supported firearm magazines. Rather than mounting an AirTag® or other compatible locating device externally to a firearm, the MAG-CORE utilizes available space within the supported magazine for discreet placement.
Select MAG-CORE models are designed to accommodate Apple AirTag®, Motorola Moto Tag®, MiLi and other compatible locating devices, depending on the dimensions and internal configuration of the specific magazine platform.
Available platform-specific designs provide options for customers searching for an AirTag magazine holder, firearm tracker holder, gun magazine tracker, firearm locator, or other discreet method of integrating a compatible locating device into a supported firearm magazine.
Each MAG-CORE is engineered for its intended magazine platform rather than using a universal-fit design. This allows Mag-Trax™ to support specific pistol and rifle magazine applications while maintaining the modular and removable design of the system.
